What is Color Converter?

Color Converter translates a colour value between hexadecimal, RGB and HSL notation and shows a live swatch. It is used when a brand guideline supplies one format, a design tool exports another, and your stylesheet expects a third.

Print guidelines usually give HEX. Building a themeable stylesheet is easier in HSL, where you adjust lightness without touching hue.

When a rendered colour looks wrong, converting the computed RGB back to HEX confirms quickly whether the value or the opacity is at fault.
